The Enemy Uses Wet Wipes
Poster No. 58, issued by the Office of Civic Digestion for the sabotage-awareness drive, warning that the non-dispersible wipe is the enemy's tool on the grid.

Poster No. 58. Issued by the Office of Civic Digestion, circa 1944, during the sabotage-awareness drive and posted beside pumping stations, stall doors, and works entrances, warning that the non-dispersible wipe was the readiest instrument for interfering with the grid. The wipe was printed an unnatural, luminous white so it would read across a dim washroom; maintenance crews adopted the same shorthand in their fault reports. The plate is held in the Bureau of Renewable Discourse archive.
