Stage 2 Digestive Conservation Alert

The Office of Civic Digestion raises the service territory from Advisory to Restriction and directs residents to meter discretionary flushing until output stabilizes.

The Office is raising the service territory from Stage 1 (Advisory) to Stage 2 (Restriction). Stage 2 remains in effect until output stabilizes or the Directorate says otherwise, whichever is later.

Under Stage 2, residents are directed to observe the following:

  1. Meter discretionary flushing. Courtesy flushes, confidence flushes, and flushes performed to cover sound are suspended for the duration. One flush, one cause.

  2. Consolidate contributions. Households are asked to contribute on a single scheduled occasion per day where individually tolerable. The grid rewards regularity, not frequency.

  3. Postpone Fiber Week. Any private Fiber Week undertaken ahead of the municipal calendar is to be stood down until Stage 1 is restored. The calendar is not a suggestion.

  4. Display your stage. Each residence shall post the current conservation stage where it is visible from the street, so that neighbors, wardens, and passing inspectors read the same number. Advance the indicator by hand as stages change; do not anticipate.
