Notice No. CD-2026-0431 · Effective July 2, 2026

The Office forecasts elevated and irregular output across all districts for the eighteen hours following this week's Soup Night. Volatility of this kind is normal, expected, and yours. Residents are reminded that Soup Night is a grid event, not a meal.

To keep the Municipal Fart Grid within its operating band, residents are directed to observe the following:

  1. Contribute on the staggered schedule. Odd-numbered households contribute before noon; even-numbered households, after. Households without numbers should feel the moment.

  2. Do not bank output. Holding a contribution in reserve against a perceived shortage destabilizes the very grid you hope to serve. The grid does not reward hoarders.

  3. Defer discretionary fixtures. Garbage disposals, second showers, and unauthorized fermentation should wait until the volatility window closes at dawn.

  4. Report early surges. A contribution that arrives ahead of forecast must be logged with CommodeNet so the Load Forecasting Desk can adjust.

The assigned windows are set out below.

Peak demand may be declared without notice. When it is, seated priority passes to enrolled residents under the Residential Digestive Contribution Act.

The Office thanks you for a productive Soup Night. Your output is being counted, and so are you.
