Public Comment Period for the Municipal Fart Grid
The Office of Civic Digestion opens a thirty-day comment period on Phase III of the Municipal Fart Grid and enumerates the only forms of comment it is prepared to accept.

Office of Civic Digestion Grid Planning Division
Notice No. CD-2026-0471 · Effective July 10, 2026

The Office opens a public comment period on Phase III of the Municipal Fart Grid expansion, which would extend service mains into the eastern districts and add two pumping stations. Comment is invited from all enrolled residents. The period runs thirty days from the effective date above and closes at 5:00 p.m. on the thirtieth, without extension.
Comment is welcome. Comment is, however, only welcome in the forms the Office is prepared to receive. Residents wishing to be heard are directed to observe the following:
-
Comment on the dashed mains only. Phase III concerns the proposed extensions, drawn dashed on the map above. The solid existing mains are in service, are not before the Office, and are not open to comment.
-
Submit in writing, or appear. Written comment is accepted on Form CD-22, one subject per form. Oral comment is accepted at the public hearing, in person, at the podium, and nowhere else.
-
Observe the three-minute limit. Each speaker receives three minutes. The sand timer at the podium is the authority on this point, not the clerk and not the speaker.
-
Address the Division, not the room. Comment is directed to the commissioners' bench. Applause, objection, and encouragement from the seats are not part of the record and will not be entered into it.

All comment received in an accepted form will be read, logged, and weighed. Comment received in any other form will be read with interest and weighed at nothing. The Office thanks you for your participation, which it has already scheduled.
